What is IPL?

Intense pulsed light is a technology used by cosmetic and medical practitioners to perform various skin treatments for aesthetic and therapeutic purposes, including hair removal, photo-rejuvenation as well as to alleviate dermatologic diseases such as acne.

How is IPL effective for hair removal?

​ IPL is an effective hair removal method that uses pulsed light to damage the hair follicle, keeping new hairs from growing back.

How often should you receive an IPL treatment?

Hair removal treatment sessions can be scheduled 2-4 weeks a part. However, please keep in mind that the hair cycle needs at least 28 days of growth to kill hair follicles. The treatment should go on until hair stop growing back. It usually takes 3-6 months for hair removal treatment. Subsequent sessions should be scheduled whenever you see that some hair has started to grow back until you achieve the desired results.
